Our Management Team
Jerry Greenwald, President & Founder of Heartland Computers, Inc.
Established in 1991, Heartland Computers Inc. was founded by Jerry Greenwald. Jerry started the business out of his home, and it quickly grew as customers demanded extended life spans for their existing equipment. He has been involved with portable computer products and barcode equipment since the 1960s and knows his business. Jerry demands the highest quality services, solutions, teamwork and products we can deliver to our customers.
 
Todd Greenwald, Director of Operations
Since 1991 Todd has applied a hands-on approach to ensuring Heartland Computers delivers the highest quality new and refurbished products, customer support, and customer satisfaction in the industry. Todd has worked with the highest quality technicians and engineers to develop rigorous technical manuals and quality control standards--standards that all equipment must meet prior to being shipped to our customers.  While the objective is to deliver nothing but the best quality products; Customer Support & Satisfaction is the number one goal.  Although Quality is serious work, Todd strives to develop a culture that is fun and exciting for all Heartland Computers employees.

Rick Mueller, Director of Field Service
Rick has been with the company since 1997. He oversees the Service department, which includes the assurance of the quality of our repairs, the timeliness of our maintenance turnaround, telephone support, repair history/ repair reporting and spare pool management for our customers. An industry veteran, he worked for Telxon and Netcom International before joining Heartland Computers. He is familiar with all aspects of barcoding systems, from in-house repairs to site surveys and installations of barcoding systems.

Mark Schasre, Office Manager
With the company since 1999, Mark oversees day to day office operations, including Accounting, Invoicing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Purchase Orders, and Order Processing. He believes that "anyone who works here has to take ownership in what they are doing."
