PAYMENT POLICY
Credit Cards
Heartland Computers, Inc. accepts VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards for all purchases.

Current billing address and phone information must be included with every order.

Billing information must be able to be verified with the issuing bank. If this information cannot be verified with the bank, the order will result in a cancellation.

Credit Card Security
Heartland Computers, Inc. reserves the right to monitor order activity to ensure a fair process. Heartland Computers, Inc. also reserves the right to reject any order deemed to be made in bad faith, or that may be in violation of local laws, taxes or restrictions.

We strongly advise not to test this site with false bids or orders, as it will result in substantial, personal legal risk. It is a violation of the law to make bids or orders under a false name or with an invalid credit card.

Heartland Computers, Inc. has a sophisticated Fraud Control system that screens for suspicious bids and orders. Any suspicious orders or bids are subject to investigation and possible cancellation. For your protection, credit card orders may be delayed while screening takes place.

Persons who commit fraudulent activity will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Web browsers transmit a unique address that can be used by law enforcement officials to identify fraudulent activity. Both the FBI and the US Secret Service are responsible for investigating Internet fraud cases.

We will cooperate with the responsible legal authorities in the investigating of any fraud perpetrated through Heartland Computers, Inc.. In such instances, we also reserve the right to share information about such fraud with the issuing bank, shipping carriers, and our business partners.

Purchase Orders
Purchase Orders are required upon credit approval and payable on net 10-day terms. Please call a sales representative at 800-708-7226 for details.

Check or Money Order
If you prefer, you may send a check or money order drawn on US funds to the address below. Prepaid orders will not ship until payment has been received. In rare occasions we can ship COD.

Check or money order payments must include the price of the order, the shipping fee, and IL sales tax (for Illinois residents only).

The following must be included with your payment: your name, address, telephone number, quantity and product you wish to purchase.

Sales Tax
Orders billed by Heartland Computers, Inc. will include sales tax on all shipments to California, Colorado and Illinois.

SHIPPING POLICY
Rates and Carriers
Heartland Computers, Inc. typically use FedEx or UPS to deliver shipments to our customers in a cost effective manner. Both offer a wide range of delivery options to both domestic and international addresses. Typically shipments are received within 3 business days unless otherwise requested. Please note:  FedEx or UPS  cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.  .

If requesting alternate carriers using your account number or one which is listed above this must be specified at the time of placing your order.

Products have a flat rate for standard service, unless otherwise noted in the shipping and handling portion of the product description page. We frequently offer shipping promotions; please check the product page for current options and pricing.

For orders over 150 pounds, Heartland Computers, Inc. will ship via common carrier truck.

All shipping prices are quoted in U.S. dollars.

If you have been charged an incorrect shipping amount, please call customer service at 800-708-7226 (or 847-526-0050)

Damages
It is recommended that when you receive equipment or items back from repair, you open the package & examine the unit as soon as you receive it. It quickly identifies that damage has occurred in transit to the customer, and a claim can be started with the shipping carrier. If it is determined that damaged occurred in shipping please call the Logistics department at (847) 526-0050 Ext. 226 for instructions. If Heartland Computers, Inc. receives a piece of equipment that was damaged in shipping from the customer, they will be contacted and instructions given on making a “Damaged in Shipping Claim,” through their carrier company. All claims for damages must be made within 5 business days of receiving the shipment.

Order Processing Time
Order processing times are within 2 business days for in stock items, are contingent upon credit card authorization, and do not include weekends or holidays. Heartland Computers, Inc. will send an e-mail message notifying you when an item is delayed beyond the time represented.

Destinations and International Orders
Heartland Computers, Inc. ships to the continental United States. In addition, many of our items may be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and APO/FPO addresses. Because Heartland Computers, Inc. uses the US Postal Service Priority Mail as the standard shipping method, we do ship to PO boxes. For inquiries regarding ship rates/availability to countries not listed here, email sales@heartland-usa.com.


  • Billing to an International Address
    Heartland Computers, Inc. accepts VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards for all purchases.

  • International Shipping Method
    Heartland Computers, Inc. uses Federal Express or UPS as the standard shipping method to international addresses. To support our international customer's expedited needs Heartland Computers, Inc. also uses DHL. To request an alternate carrier using your account, contact Customer Service. All additional taxes, duties, and brokerage fees that are charged in the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer.

    Delivery times are stated in business days, and do not include order processing times.
